MEET THE COUSINS - (PART 2) THE CHILDREN OF ELIZA (NEE GIBSON) & ARCHIE MCLEOD

2. ELIZA GIBSON (Li) - b 1902

"Eliza married Archibald (Archie) McLeod.

They had three children, Ailsa b 1924 and Dorothy b 1926. The family eventually emigrated to Adelaide South Australia.

Ailsa married John, and became an opera singer. She had one son. John and Ailsa later divorced. Dorothy married Kent and they had two children. Young Archie married Irene, they had three children".

Vintage Pit Lass

What did you do when you inherited old photographs? Did you throw them out, stick them in an album and forget about them?

What did I do? At first I put them in an album and forgot about them.

However, a few years later, I became involved in a social networking Memories Group, that reminisced about the place I was born, and where people posted old photographs. I was hooked.

It was then I came to realise how important old historical 'snapshots in time' were to all of us; they jogged our faded memories, they brought smiles and tears and a great deal of pleasure.

So here are my snaps, and I hope they will be enjoyed and awaken memories of times gone by.
