Nanny Barbara - Children and their Prams

Prams have almost disappeared in 2017, but here are two amazing, very deep, rather ugly, looking 'perambulators' from the 1930s that Barbara would have pushed her charges around in. They are probably coach built, the wheels are quite large, and notice they have mudguards fitted, all making for a more comfortable ride. You have to admit the children look warm, safe and comfortable don't they?

I believe it is a little boy in the coat, love his boots, and can't make my mind up whether that is a bandage on his leg.

This pram doesn't have such big wheels, but they look as if they could have inner tubes that again could give a very comfortable ride.  That is an amazing very smart outdoor uniform that Barbara is wearing.
